Too many words, not enough pictures

I've been blog reading this afternoon and have come to the conclusion that I enjoy pictures far more than words and I'm guessing my readers do, too. I've realised I talk (well, write, really) too much on my blog for my liking and in an attempt to balance it a bit, I've taken some photos of a few of the dolls / doll like imagery I have around the flat. (Sorry they're a bit dark. If you have any question about them, drop me a line and i'll do my best to answer.)

Enjoy..

Yummy!

So, I didn't manage to do anything on my list yesterday. Never mind I've been cracking on with Chris & George's wedding invitation this morning, so I should have something to show them by the end of the day. (If I don't give in to the temptation to go chocolate egg buying.)

Yesterday J and I spent the day doing nice things, like having breakfast, using the gorgeous tea set that Bethan bought me as a leaving present, making nice food together and going to Wallington Hall.

Wallington Hall is gorgeous! It's the first time we've arrived early enough to access the house, which is amazing. If I hadn't had a migrane, (I get the vision affecting type,) I could have stayed all day. There are so many best bits I think we need to go back again soon, when I can see them all properly. The dolls houses are fantastic as is the Cabinet of Curiosities in the attic, filled with taximermic birds whose feathers are beautiful. It caused such a bizarre emotion of intrigue and fear, being both amazed at their beauty and really disgusted and quite scared of them. Wish I'd taken a photo now. The House was wonderful and will hopefully provide some inspiration for the Alice project.
